Разоблаченность

Серия живописных работ об отношениях между потребителем fashion-индустрии и вещами — предметами гардероба. Сам факт рисования одежды — уже является актом фетишизма, но на работах одежда предстает в небрежном — скомканном и разбросанном виде, что вызывает ощущения противоречия между фетишизмом и безразличием, является символом деградации отношения владельца к своей вещи: от вожделения (в момент приобретения — примерки и покупки) до пренебрежения (через некоторое время — когда вещь уже можно спокойно швырнуть). Мой интерес заключается в том, когда именно наступает момент разочарования, когда именно фетиш теряет свою силу и разоблачается. 

Undressing

A series of paintings about the relationship between the consumer of the fashion industry and things — items of clothing. The very fact of drawing clothes is already an act of fetishism, but on the paintings clothes appear in crumpled and scattered form. The spectator experiences a conflict between fetishism and indifference. It is a symbol of the degradation of the owner’s attitude to his things: from desire (at the time of purchase) to neglect after a while of having the thing, you can safely throw it away). My interest concerns exactly the moment of disappointment, when the thing loses its power as a fetish.
